This software utility is designed to calculate
hash values of the file contents. What makes this tool unique is the ability to
calculate hash values of multiple files with a single button click.
Several widely used checksum and cryptographic hashing algorithms and
functions are supported,
including CRC32, GOST, MD2, MD4, MD5, SHA1, SHA2-256, SHA2-384 and

You may use this software to calculate hash sum of
a file downloaded from the Internet, to ensure that the file that has
been downloaded completely, is original and has not been corrupted or altered.
Calculating file hash sums allows you to compare multiple files in a
given directory, to see if the contents of any of the files have
changed. At last you can use this utility to compute hash values of
installer and setup files using MD5 or SHA1 hash algorithms in order to compare
them against published values to make sure that the file is original and
has not been tampered with.
The software has an intuitive user interface and
drag and drop support for files. If you want to quickly calculate hash
values of several files you may just drag these files to the program's
working area. A full file path and a calculated hash value will be
displayed. You can then export data from the working area to a text
|This is a typical
program screen shot. A list of files and corresponding hash values
of its contents is shown in the working area.
When files are added to software using Add
function or are dragged and dropped on to the working area,
hash values are calculated on the fly. If the files are large, it
may take some time to calculate hash sums. While the values are
calculated the status of operation is displayed the the "Hash"
Once hash sums are calculated you may copy values
to the clipboard by right-clicking at the hash value or export the full
list of hashes and file names from the software with single click.
If the contents of the file have changed the
calculated hash value will be different from the previous value. In
order to get the latest hash you may quickly recalculate the values
using "Calculate" button at any time. To remove files from the
working area you may highlight several files files and click
"Delete" button on your keyboard.
